Smart Breast Augmentation Breast Enhancement surgery is one of the most sought after cosmetic procedures today. F.A.Q. What kind of implants do you use? We use Natrelle saline implants made by Allergan. We prefer the saline due to the ability to add or subtract volume during the procedure. The incision for the saline implants is able to be smaller because the implant is not prefilled.
Is the implant placed above or below the muscle? Dr. Kunda places the implant below the muscle. The benefits of this placement may result in less capsular contracture, and easier imaging of the breast with mammography.
How long is recovery?
Patients may return to work in as little as three days. We perform a majority of the surgeries on the weekend minimizing inconveniences for work.
What choices do I have in implants?
We use three different profiles(projection); low, medium, and high profile. Depending on the look that you desire we will sit down and have a detailed discussion on what look you would like to achieve and recommend a profile. Your consultation is detailed and focused on you and your priorities.
Will I be able to breastfeed?
Although there are no studies published about breastfeeding and implants, Dr. Kunda would recommend that you are done having children before having the procedure. Some women have reported slower production and difficulty whereas some women report no change.
